Boho Christmas – what is boho style and what does it look like?

Boho Christmas

Most people imagine boho style as something that allows you to freely match various fabrics and patterns. Think of a unique style where modern furniture stands next to antique accessories and together they create a perfect match. You could definitely say that boho style allows you to unleash your creativity.

Boho style brings to mind cultural revolution of the 1960s and the 1970s. Over the years, it has been changing and kept surprising with its range of colours and all the opportunities that it offered in terms of matching colours, furniture and accessories. We can find various types of boho style, such as: Moroccan, Scandi, modern or folk.

What do interiors in boho style look like?

When we enter a living room arranged in boho style, we can see many elements, colours and patterns that don’t necessarily are a match for each other. The colours are most important here, they are not only intense, but there should be many of them and they should create various combinations, for example: a navy blue sofa and a yellow armchair. We can often hear that a boho room is loud and gaudy. There is something in it, and we would admit that this is in fact true. Colours that are popular in this style are shades of red, blue and brown, as well as pastel tones of yellow and beige. In terms of accessories, it might be worth to consider colourful cushions, patterned rugs, pictures and plenty of house plants – real ones, of course.

Furniture that will work well in boho style room

To be honest, all furniture available in intense, bold colours or in pastel shades of beige and brown will work well with boho style. In our store, we have sofas and armchair in various colour combinations. We have corner sofas in shades of blue, but also beige 2- or 3-seater sofas. Armchairs are also available in many different colours and you will be able to find a yellow armchair, or even armchairs in bottle green or deep shades of red.

Our favourite furniture that you can use without hesitation to arrange a boho day room:

Revive 2-seater sofa – we really like this model because of its classic, but at the same time elegant look. It is extremely subtle and gives you plenty of opportunities. You could use it to create a unique comfort zone in your living room. It is very comfortable and thanks to high armrests and tall backrest, it allows you to relax fully and to experience the highest level of comfort and rest. It looks beautiful in festive living rooms and its colour of beige or even light coffee looks very subtle, elegant and stylish.

Covex right-hand corner sofa – it is a model of sofa that looks great in larger spaces. It is very simple in its form, but at the same time is really elegant. It is available in various colour options; we suggest a navy blue corner sofa or a corner sofa in the shade of dusty pink. The sofa legs are made out of metal and they give the whole piece a feeling of lightness.

Ducon armchair with a footstool – it looks charming in honey colour. It will create a great duo with a dark blue corner sofa. It is upholstered with a fabric that resembles felt in its texture, which gives an effect of a warm and cosy piece of furniture. The footstool is a great option for tired legs.
